Traditionally, the term Dongle has referred to any USB device;

Currently in the UK, there are five companies that are at the forefront of mobile broadband service, T-Mobile, 3, Vodafone, Orange and O2, coincidentally these are also the major mobile phone providers in the UK.

When deciding which company and package to go with, there are a few things to consider. A major factor when deciding which provider is best for you is usage/download limits because if you go over the limit, this can result in highly monthly bills from a service that you initially thought was a good deal. Pre-determine how much you think you will use mobile broadband.

Remember, if downloading music and movies is your thing, mobile broadband is not for you. Most companies offer a 3GB limit, which is more than adequate for surfing the Internet and checking E-mail. So be sure you understand the download limits and be aware.
